Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality, in-home care across our Texas branch. You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and provide direct therapy in patients' homes, coordinating with physicians and care teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, state license, 1 year of clinical experience, and willingness to travel up to 50%. You should be physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and driving within your coverage area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current, unrestricted SLP license in the state of work.
• Minimum one year of experience as an SLP in a clinical care setting.
• Willingness to travel within branch/office coverage area (up to 50%).
• Own a dependable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance; travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy and policies to ensure quality of care.
• Evaluates patient to determine rehabilitation needs and develops a plan of care.
• Admits patient and assesses speech-language therapy needs per guidelines.
• Conducts initial therapy evaluations and re-evaluations during visits.
• Provides direct Speech-Language pathology services per physician orders and standards.
• Communicates findings and changes to supervisor and care team.
• Performs documentation and plan of care updates for continuity of care.
• Maintains accurate therapy notes and logs.
