Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC staff for large DoD construction projects across the Continental United States. With a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, including 4 years in a QC Manager role, the ideal candidate will manage all QC processes and ensure project compliance. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to foster a positive, inclusive work environment. Competitive total compensation package and extensive training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years construction experience, 4 as QC Manager.
• USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors training certification preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface in professional manner with client representatives and subcontractors.
• Review designs and provide feedback to designers.
• Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents.
• Implement the requirements of approved QC Plan.
• Identify deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Coordinate and document commissioning and formal completion inspections.
• Train direct reports on processes and procedures.
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
