A leading construction firm is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC staff for large DoD construction projects across the Continental United States. With a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, including 4 years in a QC Manager role, the ideal candidate will manage all QC processes and ensure project compliance. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years construction experience, 4 as QC Manager.
USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors training certification preferred.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
Interface in professional manner with client representatives and subcontractors.
Review designs and provide feedback to designers.
Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents.
Implement the requirements of approved QC Plan.
Identify deficiencies and non-conformances.
Coordinate and document commissioning and formal completion inspections.
Train direct reports on processes and procedures.
Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
