Job summary

A leading construction firm seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC activities for DoD construction projects. The role requires managing QC staff, interfacing with clients, and conducting technical reviews. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering, 10+ years of construction experience, and leadership skills. This role involves extensive travel across the U.S., focusing on maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience, 4 years as QC Manager.
• USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management certification preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all QC staff, processes, and activities for large DoD construction projects.
• Interface professionally with clients and subcontractors.
• Conduct in-depth technical reviews and manage submittal approval status.
• Implement approved QC Plan and manage documentation.
• Identify deficiencies and prepare necessary documentation.
• Coordinate and document commissioning and inspections.
• Foster a positive work environment and motivate team members.
