Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician Float to join our pharmacy team in the Louisville area. You will support pharmacists and help deliver timely, friendly service to patients.

This role requires assisting with prescription fulfillment, labeling, patient data updates, and coordinating home delivery as needed. You will also help with inventory, training, and problem escalation under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred.
• Must be able to travel to Baptist Health Community Pharmacies in the Louisville area.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense community prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter computer orders, update patient information and complete transactions.
• Deliver medications to discharging patients per pharmacist request.
• Perform prescription refills outreach under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with home delivery scheduling for prescriptions.
• Support inventory management, restocking and inventory prep.
• Assist in training new staff.
• Escalate issues or patient complaints to the pharmacist.
• Participate in meetings and committees as assigned.
