Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician Float to join our pharmacy team. Float locations will be between Baptist Health Louisville and Baptist Health LaGrange as needed.

This role supports pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and patient-centered service in a multi-skilled environment, requiring teamwork, leadership, and flexibility to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration required before or on date of hire (if not currently registered).
• Must be available and willing to travel to Baptist Health Community Pharmacy locations (Louisville/LaGrange, KY).

Responsabilités

• Assist Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Filling and dispensing community prescriptions; computer order entry; update patient info; labeling and POS transactions.
• Deliver medications to discharging patients as requested.
• Prescriber outreach for prescription refills under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in coordinating home delivery for prescriptions.
• Assist in inventory management: order review, returns, restocking, physical inventory prep.
• Perform simple nonsterile compounding per USP 795 guidelines under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in training new staff; escalate issues to Pharmacist as needed.
• Attend meetings and committees as assigned.
