Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician Float to support our pharmacy team across multiple locations including Lexington, Hamburg, Richmond, and Corbin. You will assist with dispensing, patient service, and pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and may require travel to additional Baptist Health Community Pharmacy sites. Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be available to travel to Baptist Health Community Pharmacy locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager with filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Handle computer order entry and update patient information.
• Fill and label prescriptions and complete point-of-sale transactions.
• Deliver medications to discharging patients per pharmacist requests.
• Complete prescriber outreach for prescription refills under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in inventory management, restocking shelves, and cycle counts.
• Assist in training new staff when assigned.
• Escalate problems or patient complaints to the Pharmacist.
