Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Liaison Non Nurse to drive business development, increase census, and raise facility visibility in the Las Vegas community, aligned with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The ideal candidate holds an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health care administration, communications, marketing, or related field, and has experience in clinical systems or in post-acute settings. Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health care administration, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Prior experience in clinical systems or post-acute setting.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Valid driver’s license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Understand and follow Life Care policies including compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient pre-admission screenings at acute care hospitals or other referring facilities.
• Navigate managed care processes.
• Establish productive working relationships with providers.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Move intermittently during working hours (sit/stand/bend/lift).
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
