Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC seeks a Level 1 (Associate) Network Installation Technician to install and de-install telecommunications equipment, identify and resolve problems, and operate independently on small to mid-sized upgrades.

The role requires travel up to 70%, willingness to work across CONUS and OCONUS locations, and a basic toolkit; candidate should have experience with routers/switches and a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in construction, maintenance, or repair of telecom or electronics equipment.
• Knowledge of network devices (routers, switches) from multiple manufacturers.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure installation and de-installation.
• Cable management and terminations (RJ45, Coaxial/BNC, fiber).
• Grounding and testing; maintain documentation.
• Documentation responsibilities and reporting (DSR/SCR).
