360care is seeking a patient-focused Medical Office Assistant to support physicians across long term care facilities. You will maintain EMR records, assist with clinical tasks, and ensure accurate documentation and smooth patient flow during visits.

This role requires travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius, reliable transportation, and strong communication. You will work in a fast-paced environment while upholding HIPAA guidelines and delivering exceptional patient service.

Aufgaben

• Assist doctor in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Completes chart prep on scheduled patients prior to every visit.
• Verifies and maintains current and accurate clinical records, charts and medical history through electronic medical records during patient visits.
• Assures integrity of all documentation.
• Maintains current and accurate clinical records and charts through electronic medical records.
• Completes end of visit reports on the day of visit and shares with management.
• Provides daily feedback and works with branch office to optimize schedule and reporting.
• Coordinate and maintain patient flow during facility visit.
• Balance and generate daily production reports and provide to manager on day of visit.
• Accurately posts charges to the appropriate provider in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for care and cleaning of medical equipment.
• Maintain medical supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure all medical equipment is working properly by preventive maintenance.
• Maintain clean service area upon departure of visit.
• Multitask, be detail oriented and provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ensure a positive experience for our patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, providers, staff.
• Provide timely responses to patient inquiries and document conversations in EMR.
• Requires travel up to 100% within 2.5 hour radius.
