Job summary

Power Motive Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician in Tucson, AZ to diagnose, repair, and test heavy equipment and machine systems. You will work under direction from the Service Manager and perform component removal, disassembly, rebuilds, and installation with a focus on safety and professionalism.

The role requires traveling up to 50–100% and a willingness to operate and maintain shop tools and equipment while promoting a positive company image.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of heavy equipment mechanical experience.
• Must hold valid DOT and/or Medical Card credentials.
• Heavy equipment dealer certifications preferred (if applicable).
• Minimum CDL B preferred; willing to travel 50–100%.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and perform assignments.
• Diagnose problems and determine needed repairs.
• Develop skills in disassembly, assembly, and repair of components and machines.
• Perform service tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
• Prepare reports and forms for job assignments.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and tools.
• Document time and materials used for jobs.
• Communicate with customers and departments for service quality.
