Job summary

Mardian Equipment is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles and heavy equipment in Flagstaff, AZ. You will perform electrical, welding, hydraulic, and fabrication tasks, and conduct daily inspections per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, ensuring safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service while coordinating with the Service Manager and team to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or GED) and mechanical background.
• Knowledge of repair methods, tools, and equipment.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles and heavy equipment (electrical, welding, hydraulics, fabrication).
• Perform daily DOT inspections if qualified and document results.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Prepare written job action reports detailing work completed and in progress.
• Verify permits and certifications are current and follow safety procedures.
• Provide status updates to supervisor on work orders and ensure customer service.
• Follow company policies and support team objectives.
