Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, PDU, and battery systems for the Edge market. The role emphasizes on-site customer interaction, safety adherence, and timely administrative tasks in a dynamic, travel-heavy environment.

You will work under supervision or independently based on training, providing on-site and phone assistance, and collaborating with Technical Support to resolve issues while maintaining equipment and safety

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and Change Notices.
• Complete accurate administrative tasks (time cards, expense reports).
• Maintain company property and inventory.
