GHD is seeking a CMT Technician for our Geotechnical team in Hilton Head (Bluffton), SC and Savannah, GA. You will perform field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt while documenting findings per engineering standards.

Join our expert group to support construction and site development projects across the region and travel to various field locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in field testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, or masonry preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors at job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation, inspection, testing and sampling of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt.
• Document findings in line with engineering best practices and building codes.
