Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support travel assignments across DoD systems. The role focuses on building test plans, configuring testing environments, and ensuring system reliability through thorough testing.

The ideal candidate has a Secret clearance, 4+ years in testing or IT, and hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, networking, and automation. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement robust configurations and documentation in dynamic

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in testing, networking, or IT-related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Department of Defense (DoD) computer and radio systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN, and WAN.
• Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test plans and procedures.
• Design configurations to support testing and prototyping of emerging systems.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and workaround documentation for system issues.
• Perform testing on systems and subsystems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on system specifications, development plans, testing protocols, and network documentation.
• Install and configure Windows and Linux servers to support operational needs.
• Set up and manage core services such as DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Administer and maintain virtualized environments for development and production.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, servers, and firewalls; diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
• Capture and deploy system images to ensure consistent and reliable system configurations.
