QualDerm Partners is seeking a Front Office Receptionist to support patient intake and front-desk operations in Livonia, with travel to Ann Arbor as needed. You will verify insurance, enter information in the EMR, and help ensure smooth clinic flow while delivering excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of health-care front-desk experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication and confidentiality skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a busy dermatology

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience in health care office preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Notes patient arrival in Practice Management System (EMR) and verifies information.

Responsabilités

• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone.
• Notes patient arrival in Practice Management System (EMR).
• Identifies patients by date of birth and name in computer system.
• Prepares necessary patient paperwork prior to appointment.
• Calls No Show appointments to reschedule and notates in the system.
• Optimizes patient satisfaction and provider time by scheduling appointments.
• Assists in emergencies and responds to patients in distress.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and payor type; informs Billing when needed.
• Maintains reception area cleanliness and organization.
• Records and collects patient copays and balances at check in/out.
