Job summary

LMI is seeking a Dataverse Data Architect to join a multidisciplinary team supporting the DHS CBP PMO. This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a CBP BI, with 20% travel to remote areas.

You will assess technologies, guide development, and enable deployment of integrated systems for national security missions. The ideal candidate has strong RDT&E experience and can bridge emerging capability with mission utility.

Qualifications

• Senior level: 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years with MS degree.
• Mid level: 3-10 years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree.
• Experience designing and implementing data architectures using Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse table design, security, and environment management.
• Experience with Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, and connectors.
• Experience with Azure integration services such as Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, retention, auditing, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern scalable data models and data integration using Dataverse and Power Platform.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models including tables, relationships, and rules.
• Define Dataverse data architecture standards, patterns, and naming conventions.
• Design Dataverse security models including roles, teams, and access controls.
• Develop integration architecture between Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure, and external systems.
• Support data migration, transformation, mapping, validation, and data quality.
• Design data flows, virtual tables, APIs, and connectors for enterprise data exchange.
• Support Power Platform environment strategy and lifecycle management.
• Assist with compliance, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.
