Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent on multiple construction projects in Houston, TX. You will monitor schedules, budgets, safety, and quality, coordinating with subcontractors and staff to keep work progressing on plan.

This role involves field work, travel up to 100%, reading construction documents, producing operational reports, and representing Hoar in site meetings while maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents with monitoring project schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and staff on progress and recovery plans.
• Read construction documents to determine requirements or plan procedures.
• Maintain reports on personnel, production, project logs, status and other data.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
• Represent Hoar in site meetings as needed.
• Coordinate and manage workforce to complete projects.
• Communicate goals and expectations to crew members.
