Job summary

Dennis Group Safety Professionals assist in the development, management, and implementation of a Health and Safety Program for all of Dennis Group's projects. Our projects are vertical, industrial construction projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and sub-contractor trades.

The position requires knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management, accident investigation and training in the construction industry, with frequent travel to job sites across North America (75%+ during

Qualifications

Candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Risk Management, or Construction.
GPA of 3.0 or greater.
0-3 years of work or school experience on construction projects.
OSHA training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing health and safety program.
Assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating health and safety training and activities.
Prepare and deliver safety toolbox talks and safety training topics for contractors.
Review subcontractor safety pre-qualification submissions.
Conduct and document Jobsite Safety Observations.
Work with project teams to establish site safety procedures.
