AllSearch Staffing Group seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects in Covington, LA. The role covers managing day-to-day jobsite activities, supervising subcontractors, coordinating with Project Management, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate will have extensive GC experience, strong knowledge of construction methods and codes, and the ability to read drawings and schedules.

Qualifications

• Qualifications correspond to field supervisory roles in commercial construction and GC environments.
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and project management interfaces.
• Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, building codes, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and jobsite activities from construction through project completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trade contractors, suppliers, vendors, and field crews.
• Manage construction sequencing, look-ahead schedules, project schedules, and daily coordination.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, plans, and other documents.
• Monitor workmanship, quality control, and compliance with plans and specs.
• Enforce jobsite safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues and coordinate with Project Management.
• Ensure field operations comply with applicable building codes and construction requirements.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Communicate project status and field conditions with subcontractors, Project Management, clients, and teams.
