Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial projects from construction through completion. You will manage daily jobsite activities, subcontractors, scheduling, safety, quality control, and coordination with Project Management.

Experience in GC environments and in commercial, institutional, retail, or healthcare construction is required. Travel or relocation may be needed for project durations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent within a GC environment.
• Experience managing commercial, institutional, retail, and/or healthcare construction projects.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, building codes, and field operations.
• Advanced experience reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and jobsite activities from construction through completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trade contractors, suppliers, and field crews.
• Manage construction sequencing, look-ahead schedules, project schedules, and daily coordination.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship, quality control, and compliance with plans.
• Enforce safety procedures and OSHA requirements on site.
• Identify and resolve field issues with Project Management team.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and construction requirements.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and site logistics.
• Communicate project status and field conditions with stakeholders.
