Job summary

GEA Group is seeking an experienced applications engineer with a background in mechanical or chemical engineering to advise on hygienic and aseptic valves and related technologies for food, dairy and beverage applications.

You will prepare PID’s, cost sheets, and quotes, and collaborate with global teams to customize solutions. Strong communication and WC skills required; travel 50-60% nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in application engineering and technical sales support.
• Understanding of Fluid Dynamics and related industry practices.
• Knowledge of sanitary liquid processing equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with Hy5 and Configit product sizing software.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on proper application of hygienic and aseptic valves and technologies.
• Prepare PID's before quoting; assist in cost sheets and quotes.
• Liaise with BU-V&P colleagues in Germany and Switzerland for technical matters.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers and distributors.
• Provide hygienic and aseptic tech training to stakeholders.
