American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a hospital radiology department in Morristown, NJ. The role requires 1–3 years of experience and ARRT certification, with NJ State RT license if applicable and BLS on file.

The position involves a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with every other weekend, one on-call shift every 3 weeks, and 37.5 hours per week. Epic charting and potential cross-site duties are included.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• NJ State RT License required if applicable.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting in a hospital.
• Monday-Friday schedule 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM including every other weekend.
• One on-call shift every 3 weeks.
• 37.5 hours per week.
• Uses EPIC for charting.
• May float to a sister hospital nearby.
• Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed.
• Stay current on trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology.
• Local candidates accepted.
