American Traveler is actively seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital in West Virginia. This 13-week night shift contract requires at least 2 years of radiology experience and ARRT and BLS certification. A WV license is required if applicable.

The role involves XR and OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy studies in a high-volume department with 24/7 radiologist coverage. Epic EMR experience is essential, and a valid driver's license is required for consideration.

• Work in a 5-room/scanner department with 24/7 radiologist coverage.
• Adhere to safety protocols; scrubs provided and department orientation provided.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital radiology department with 5 rooms/scanners
• Performs XR and OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy studies
• Average of 400 scans/studies per dayUses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Department equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms
• Radiologists in-house 24/7 with residents
• No float requirement to other areas
• 3x12 hour night shifts
• Weekend and possible holiday requirements
• No call or standby requirement
• Scrubs provided
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Radiation badge provided by staffing agency, not facility
• Does not require starting IVs
• No RRAs used in this department
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Previous perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• Previous travelers who completed a full year must take a 2-year break before returning
• Cumulative experience across WVU system applies toward the 1-year travel limit
