American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a day shift assignment in Akron, Ohio. The role requires at least 1 year of combined permanent radiology experience and active BLS/AHA certifications.

Responsibilities include performing X-ray imaging in a hospital radiology/cardiology department, with a 9:00 AM–9:30 PM schedule and every-other-weekend/holiday coverage. Compliance with licensing, vaccine, and background checks is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage.
• Open background check cases not accepted; license status must be clear.
• Onsite badging and fingerprinting completed before start date.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location
• Current BLS certification required
• Active AHA certifications required at time of consideration with no pending certifications
• Ohio state license required, license required if applicable
• Compact licenses accepted for start dates of 1/1/23 and forward
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required within 12 months of start and updated annually for non-nurse, non-CST candidates

Responsibilities

• X-Ray Tech unit within a hospital radiology/cardiology department
• Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday coverage expected
• Open background check cases will not be accepted
• Any hits on professional license will not be accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
• RTO must be discussed during interview and finalized at time of consideration
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed prior to start date
