American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services for inpatients and outpatients, requiring ARRT certification and BLS.

Assignment Overview

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Start Date: ASAP

Length: 13 weeks

Details

• Diagnostic radiology department setting
• Provides services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C‑arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement of one weekend (Saturday & Sunday) every 4-5 weeks, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography school
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification
• State license as a general radiographer required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Works under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Responsible for timely diagnostic imaging services
• Radius rule in place; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates with employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months will not be considered
• Travelers who have worked at the facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
