American Traveler, LLC. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of general radiology experience and ARRT(R) certification to join our diagnostic imaging team.

This role requires BLS, state license if applicable, strong radiation safety knowledge, and the ability to educate patients while producing high-quality images. 12-hour shifts Friday–Sunday with 36 hours weekly, including holiday coverage.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years experience in general radiology.
• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required.
• KY state Radiology Tech license required if applicable (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Skilled in radiation safety, imaging equipment, computer systems, infection control, quality control techniques, and patient education.

Aufgaben

• Radiology department setting.
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, Friday through Sunday.
• 4 call shifts per month.
• 36 hours per week across 3 days.
• Produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images meeting department and industry standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and respond to questions or concerns.
• Apply age-appropriate communication and safety approaches for patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient positioning, imaging technique, and radiation safety protocols.
• Oversee and train students participating in patient care as part of their clinical training.
• Required to work Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
