American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of general radiology experience and ARRT(R) certification. The role is hospital-based and involves patient preparation, imaging, and education in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, learning radiation safety practices, and training students as part of the radiology team. Onboarding may include state license steps and ongoing safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general radiology experience.
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS are required.
• State Radiology Tech License (RAD) required, if applicable; IN license may be obtained on onboarding.

• Work in the Radiology department of a hospital setting.
• 4x10 hour mid shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Produce and retain high quality diagnostic images meeting department and industry standards.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures, responding to questions or concerns.
• Apply age-appropriate communication and patient education principles.
• Oversee and train students in patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.
• Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
