Travel Radiology Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania starting July 13, 2026. The role requires a licensed Radiologic Technologist with a BLS certificate. Travel assignments involve 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
• Prepare and operate radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment, sterilize rooms, and inspect equipment for functionality.
• Evaluate images for quality and present preliminary findings to physicians and the clinical team.
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Radiologic Technologist practice.

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license complying with state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC).
• Ability to read and write in English, comprehend written instructions, and follow verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with PC skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification.
• Other certifications and licenses as required for the position.

• Maintain a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Perform fine‑motor manipulation, push/pull, and move about during procedures.

• Maintain visual acuity and communicate effectively.
