Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment at a facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Position Details

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification
• Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position

Essential Work Functions

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images per physician orders
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedures take place
• Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health‑care team
• Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
• Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical Abilities – ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal Skills – ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel with professionalism
• Technical/Motor Skills – ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures
• Mental Requirements – ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with and without assistance, handle irregular activity schedules
• Sensory Requirements – visual acuity and effective communication
