Required Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position
Essential Work Functions
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images per physician orders
- Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedures take place
- Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health‑care team
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice
Required Essential Skills

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical Abilities – ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills – ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel with professionalism
- Technical/Motor Skills – ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures
- Mental Requirements – ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with and without assistance, handle irregular activity schedules
- Sensory Requirements – visual acuity and effective communication
