Responsibilities

Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography exams to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Apply correct positioning and immobilization techniques, verify patient identity and exam preparations, and maintain sterile technique as required.
Safely transport, transfer, and reposition patients; monitor patient condition and safety; avoid hazards and do not leave a patient unattended if safety is in question.
Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, conduct QA on films and equipment, review daily exam schedules for corrections or cancellations, and ensure exams are completed and transmitted per protocol.

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography exams, using appropriate technical factors and equipment, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Apply correct positioning and immobilization techniques, verify patient identity and exam preparations, and maintain sterile technique as required
Safely transport, transfer, and reposition patients; monitor patient condition and safety; avoid hazardous situations and do not leave a patient unattended if safety is in question
Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, conduct QA on films and equipment, review daily exam schedules for corrections or cancellations, and ensure exams are completed and transmitted (including teleradiology) per protocol
Adhere to infection control principles, maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA, document and archive imaging studies, and participate in ongoing professional development
