Healthforce is seeking a Radiology Tech – Mammography for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 09/10/2026 for 4 weeks, with 8-hour rotating Day/Evening shifts and one weekend day per week.

EPIC and Visage experience required; ARRt Mammography (ARRT-M) and BLS certifications essential. The role is in a hospital imaging department with travel, providing weekly pay and full credentialing support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with radiologists; participate in weekly Monday orientations; no float policy.
• Document procedures and report maintenance needs for QC.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammography imaging using Hologic mammography units; obtain standard and specialty views as ordered, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Position patients correctly for all views, maximize first-attempt image accuracy, and minimize repeats; educate patients about the exam as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment and manage image workflow; process and verify images; utilize EPIC and Visage for orders, documentation, and image transfer to radiologists.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols, verify patient identity, screen for contraindications, and adhere to infection control and privacy standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists; participate in bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; comply with a no-float policy and a required weekend day per week.
• Document procedures and any deviations in the EMR; perform basic equipment QC and report maintenance needs as appropriate.

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) and BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
• Ability to work in a hospital imaging department with rotating day/evening shifts and one weekend day per week; no float
• Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not available in the area; winter tires recommended November through April
