ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in State College, PA, working 36 hours per week on a night shift. This role requires ARRT Radiology certification, BLS, and radiologic technology training, with preference for one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with radiologic technology training.
• ARRT radiology certification and BLS.
• One year of radiology procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and technical duties accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review requests for appropriate exams and greet patients.
• Verify patient identifiers: name and date of birth.
• Explain procedures to patients in understandable terms.
• Position patients for examinations using proper techniques.
• Operate CR, Fluoro, and DR equipment safely.
• Transfer images to PACS and document accurately.
• Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and special procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and enforce safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
