A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a qualified travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in State College, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with specific training in Radiological Technology and ARRT registration, along with at least one year of clinical experience. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a specialized training program in Radiological Technology.
• One year of experience preferred in performing radiological procedures.
• Registered with the ARRT in Radiology.
• Meets the American Heart Association's BLS standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care/technical duties accurately and timely.
• Greet each patient in a pleasant manner.
• Review requests and evaluate orders for appropriate exams.
• Explain procedures to patients clearly.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations.
• Take correct views for examination safely.
• Document relevant patient information in PACS.
• Assist the Radiologist during examinations.
• Maintain radiation safety practices.
• Perform clerical duties efficiently.
