Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in State College, PA. The role requires 1 year of Rad Tech experience, ARRT (R), BLS, and state licensing as applicable. Job duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, nights shift.

Daily duties include imaging, patient care, and equipment calibration. This travel position emphasizes accurate image capture, patient safety, and efficient collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT (R) national certification required where required by state.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment correctly.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection measures.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use the PACS system.
