Qualifications

• Active MA license to practice radiation therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in radiation therapy.
• TrueBeam experience required.
• ARIA and OSMS experience preferred.
• Ability to work 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule for travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and treatment plans.
• Operate and calibrate a TrueBeam linear accelerator; perform daily QA checks and image-guided therapy per protocol.
• Set up and position patients using immobilization devices; verify identity; align fields and imaging; document delivery.
• Maintain treatment documentation in EMR; communicate changes to care team; participate in chart reviews and QA.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to ensure safe, precise delivery.
• Monitor patients during and after therapy; educate patients and families on process and side effects.
• Uphold radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in safety initiatives.
