Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for an immediate opening in Boston, MA. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, for a 26-week engagement.

Start date is 12/01/2026, with travel expectations and strong emphasis on patient safety and accurate therapy delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, BLS certification, ARRT (T) certification, and state licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Radiation Therapist preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation using therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately for each session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivery
• Utilize imaging guidance to ensure accurate treatment delivery
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate with physicians, dosimetrists and care team
• Educate patients and families on procedures and potential side effects
• Inspect and calibrate therapy equipment regularly
• Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
