Job Details

• Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in radiological technology or equivalent, with a valid license from the state of practice; certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T); Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree; experience in radiologic technology; Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice, Department of Health Services; additional certifications as applicable.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours, 40 hours per week, starting 11/01/2026 and ending 01/30/2027.
• Essential Functions:
  • Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy following diagnosis, prescriptions, and patient identification protocols.
  • Explain procedures to patients, communicate during treatment, and manage basic treatment procedures.
  • Ensure radiation safety measures are observed for both patient and personnel.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, transfer patients with care, and attend to special needs.
  • Monitor patients for reactions or complications, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient charts, and related documentation.
  • Provide supervision and evaluate students practical skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Additional Information: The candidate must possess CA licensure and BLS. The role does not require on-call responsibilities. Experience with Elekta systems is preferred but not required.
