Job Summary

Radiation Therapist in Santa Rosa, CA This position involves performing radiation therapy treatments within an oncology center. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and proficiency with advanced equipment to deliver precise patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) (Radiation Therapy), CA State License. Experience: At least 1 year of specific radiation therapy experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional qualifications: ARIA skillset required; EPIC experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include utilizing Varian 21 EX/iX equipment, precise tumor localization, portal cast application, and dose calculation using Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) systems.
• Candidate must be comfortable with advanced radiation techniques such as IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) and CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
• Must be able to work with custom molds, shields, wedges, and other specialized equipment, ensuring radiation safety standards.
• Candidate should have experience charting procedures and be able to operate Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring when applicable.
• Submissions must include two references covering at least one year within the last three years, and responses to specified screening questions are required during application.
• This role may require flexibility to work at nearby sister facilities.
