Job Details

• Position Description: This position executes planned radiation treatments, verifies referring provider orders, and operates treatment and treatment planning equipment, including simulation, in compliance with departmental policies.
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; licensure by the relevant state regulatory agency if applicable; BLS certification; strong knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment; effective communication and safety consciousness; and 0 years of prior related experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with schedule variations including weekdays and potential flexibility for half-hour lunch.
• Additional Information: The position may include supervising students and support staff at select facilities; requires physical agility, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and use of standard precautions due to exposure risks.
