Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent with CA license.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy (AART-T) certification.
• RTT certification and BLS certification.
• Preferred: Master's degree; fluoroscopy permit; additional certifications; Elekta systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy following diagnosis, prescriptions, and patient identification protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients, communicate during treatment, and manage basic treatment procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, transfer patients with care, and attend to special needs.
• Monitor patients for reactions or complications, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient charts, and related documentation.

Education
