Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks Radiation Therapist for an ongoing travel assignment in Lodi, CA. Start date is 11/01/2026 for a 13-week period, with a 40-hour work week and a 5x8 shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed ionizing radiation, preparing the treatment room, and ensuring safety while communicating with patients.

Qualifications

• California licensure to practice radiologic technology required.
• AART-T certification required for Radiation Therapy.
• RTT certification required.
• BLS certification required; CPR/BLS preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology; Master’s preferred.
• Two years of recent radiologic technology experience.
• Current nursing license per state of assignment and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed ionizing radiation per treatment plan and verify patient data.
• Prepare treatment room/equipment and assist with patient positioning.
• Deliver daily dose while observing radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain clear communication during treatment.
• Monitor patients for reactions or complications and document findings.
• Maintain daily treatment logs and assist with student supervision when applicable.
