American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience for a hospital Therapeutic Radiology department on a day shift schedule.

The role involves patient care, delivery of radiation treatments per oncologist prescription, and participation in treatment planning with a team of professionals. VA licensing requirements apply, and BLS must be current. Local candidates within the radius are not accepted.

Qualificações

• BLS certification from AHA required.
• ARRT certification required.
• VA license required if applicable, or VA temporary license with pending status accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a hospital Therapeutic Radiology department.
• Cares for cancer patients, including delivery of radiation treatments per oncologist prescription.
• Assists during Brachytherapy procedures and may perform simulations.
• Participates in treatment planning including tumor localization and dosimetry.
• May provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students.
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records.
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00am-4:30pm.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• No floating requirements.
• Responsibilities include patient setup, treatment room preparation, imaging, and documentation of treatment doses.
• Interfaces regularly with physicists, dosimetrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers.

• Candidates must live outside a 65 mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
