American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and active MA license for a teaching hospital's Radiation Oncology department on a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, simulations, dosimetry, and collaborating with radiology, nursing, and physicians. Travel experience and own vehicle are preferred; shifts are 7:00 AM–4:30 PM with no on-call requirements.

Formación

• Active MA Radiology license required if applicable, must be in hand prior to start.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Active ARRT certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration

Responsabilidades

• Teaching hospital setting within the Radiology/Radiation Oncology department
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 10 or 12-hour shifts will not be considered
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Administer radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricate blocks in preparation for treatment
• Perform radiation therapy treatments in scheduled or emergent situations under supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
• Manage daily treatment schedule for all assignments on clinical equipment
• Work closely with reception, nursing, and physician teams in patient care
• Demonstrate familiarity with safety features in all clinical areas
• Attendance at all mandatory education sessions required
• Ability to function independently in a high-stress, work-intensive environment
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted for this assignment, must be submitted prior to offer
