Job summary

A client in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a QA/QC Specialist for a top construction client. This role develops and executes project quality programs to ensure compliance with standards, project specs, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in QA/QC within construction, experience creating QA/QC plans, reviewing drawings, managing RFIs, and conducting field inspections. This travel role covers a 500-mile radius from Cincinnati with housing, a gas card, and a

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Ability to develop and implement QA/QC plans.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, RFIs, and field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Validate construction drawings against project requirements and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance.
• Compile, track, and manage RFIs to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field leadership to ensure accurate project information is communicated.
• Track revisions and ensure field teams are working from the most current documents.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews.
• Facilitate and document pre-pour checklist reviews and signoffs.
• Verify construction activities comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformance issues and support corrective action plans.
• Maintain detailed QA/QC records and reporting documentation.
