Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to enhance mobility and independence.

Requirements include CA PTA license and active BLS. Preferred candidates include graduates of accredited programs and prior PTA experience; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid PTA license in California.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate PTA program accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under a Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities.
• Document patient progress and home exercise instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare staff.
