Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment in Eugene, OR. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve mobility and reduce pain, while documenting progress and educating patients on home exercise programs.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, guiding exercises, and coordinating with the care team to ensure high-quality rehabilitation across diverse clinical settings.

Formación

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas, ensuring devices are ready for sessions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and provide hands-on assistance.
• Record patient treatment details and progress in the medical record.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and home safety.
• Collaborate with therapists and other clinicians for comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate care across settings.
