Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week travel assignment in Waymart, Pennsylvania. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist with exercises, document progress, and help patients improve mobility and independence.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PTA license and BLS certification; graduates of accredited PTA programs are welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Document patient progress and educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support recovery and quality of life.
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and adhere to protocols.
