Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The PTA will implement treatment plans under a Physical Therapist, assist with exercises, document progress, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Set up therapy equipment and treatment areas; ensure devices are calibrated and ready.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises to improve mobility.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans with supervising PT.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment and follow infection control standards.
• Support discharge planning and community/home-based transitions.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
