Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Kennebunk, Maine is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment. The PTA will support treatment plans under a Physical Therapist, help patients improve mobility and independence, and join a dedicated clinical team.

Required licenses: valid PTA license in Maine and BLS certification. Preferred: accredited PTA program, travel experience welcome, other certifications.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license (Maine)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Must meet state regulatory requirements for PTA practice

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety
• Assist with mobility training, exercises, and transfers
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare team to coordinate care
