Job summary

Powerback is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to travel nationwide on 13-week assignments, providing PT treatment under a licensed therapist's supervision. You will support patient care across diverse settings, ensuring quality service and patient independence.

As part of a traveling clinical team, you will document care, collaborate with therapists, and educate patients and families on therapy techniques while meeting licensure requirements and travel readiness expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel nationwide and reside temporarily away from home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Attend patient care conferences and coordinate with the rehabilitation team.
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure adherence to the plan of care.
• Instruct patients and families in treatment techniques.
• Assist PT with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment; ensure safety and care quality.
